About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to build and maintain custom e-commerce stores. You’ll work with modern frontend tech (Vue.js, React, Next.js) alongside Shopify Liquid to create high-performance, conversion-focused online stores. You’ll collaborate with designers and backend devs to deliver seamless shopping experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid
- Build headless Shopify storefronts with React/Next.js or Vue.js
- Convert Figma designs to pixel-perfect theme files
- Develop custom Shopify apps
- Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways
- Optimize store performance and page speed
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Implement SEO best practices
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Mentor junior developers
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating
- Experience with Shopify CLI
- Experience with custom theme development
- Experience with custom app development
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of Shopify 2.0 themes
- Experience with REST APIs
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Strong attention to detail (Figma to pixel-perfect)
Nice to Have
- Experience with headless Shopify (Storefront API)
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS
- Shopify Partner or Plus certified
- Understanding of e-commerce SEO
- Experience with payment gateway integrations
