Techstars London Welcomes Maka Health, Powered by Autonomous

May 8, 2023

Maka Health has won a spot on the accelerator program Techstars London; the first Web3-focused accelerator program in the UK, in collaboration with Polygon Labs.

One of our early partners,  Maka Health, is a digital health platform, where they deliver personalized, proactive and preventative healthcare built on the foundations of your health data and optimized lifestyle.

We played a pivotal role in developing Maka Health’s MVP, taking the platform from a concept to a fully operational system and are thrilled to congratulate Maka Health on being selected as one of the 12 startups for Techstars London.

Michelle, the founder of Maka Health, was inspired to create the platform after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and discovering the benefits of integrative and functional medicine. Maka Health’s internal AI provides personalized supplement recommendations, and users can securely store health data and book consultations with practitioners through the platform.

Maka Health’s experience working with Autonomous was incredibly collaborative and supportive. Michelle shared, “It’s a we’re in the same boat paddling in the same direction and that feels relieving. It feels like you really have a partner that you can rely on and you know that they do consistently go above and beyond to really show up and make a huge difference where it matters and when it matters.

Michelle also praised the ownership mentality of Autonomous, saying, “Most helpful is, is just really that the ownership mentality. Not just of the relationship but also the product. Autonomous has a deep sense of making the product remarkable.”

Autonomous worked closely with Maka Health to understand their needs and goals for the platform and provided the development and engineering expertise to bring their vision to life. Maka Health’s MVP development process prepared them for the rigorous application and selection process for Techstars London. They overcame challenges and effectively communicated the benefits of functional medicine and potential which led them to become one of the 12 startups selected out of 1,200 applicants.

Being selected for Techstars London powered by Polygon is a significant achievement for Maka Health, They will have access to a network of mentors and investors, which will help them continue to grow and develop their platform. The intensive 13-week program has already helped Maka Health refine its business model and strategic approach, with mentorship and support from Polygon and the Techstars network.

At Autonomous, we understand that our partners are the backbone of our business, and we are committed to being invested in their success. Our team takes the time to understand our partner’s vision and provides honest feedback and an action plan aligned with their objectives. We believe in building long-lasting relationships with our partners, based on trust, transparency, and a shared goal of achieving success. As a result, we go above and beyond to ensure our partners are satisfied with our services and are thriving in their respective industries. Our dedication to our partners is at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to continuing to be a valuable partner to businesses worldwide.

We are very excited for Michelle and Maka Health and look forward to continuing our collaboration with Maka and supporting them in achieving their mission of bringing functional wellness to the world.
