How long does a custom Shopify build take?

Typical custom theme builds take 6-10 weeks from discovery to launch. Headless Hydrogen builds and Shopify Plus migrations may take 8-14 weeks depending on complexity. We'll give you a realistic timeline during discovery - no guessing.

Should I go headless with Hydrogen, or stick with a custom theme?

For most DTC brands, a well-built custom theme delivers excellent performance without the added complexity of headless. Hydrogen makes sense when you need sub-2-second load times at massive scale, highly custom storefronts, or when your content strategy demands a decoupled front end. We'll recommend the right approach during the technical audit.

What happens to our SEO and data during a migration?

Every URL gets mapped and 301-redirected. Your customer data, order history, and product catalog migrate cleanly. We run side-by-side testing before cutover. Your organic traffic stays intact - we've done this enough to know what breaks migrations and how to prevent it.

Can you work with our existing Shopify store instead of rebuilding?

Absolutely. Many engagements start with optimizing an existing store - improving page speed, fixing the checkout flow, adding integrations, and cleaning up technical debt. A full rebuild isn't always necessary and we'll tell you if it's not.
